You
finished that quilt top…when? Now you have no reason
not to enjoy the fruits of your labor. If you’re like
me, you’d like to use and enjoy your quilt, not put
it away on a closet shelf.
I
provide quick turnaround service, normally two weeks or less,
using a unique free-hand design that will complement
your quilt pattern. All work is done in a smoke-free, no pet
environment.
To
prepare your quilt for quilting: |
1)
Please press the quilt top and backing
2) Clip threads
3) Trim and square up the backing and batting so they are 4 inches larger than
the quilt top on all sides (For example, if quilt top is 40 x 60, the backing/batting
should be
48 x 68.)

Pricing:
Machine
quilting starts at 1.5 cents per square inch for
simple quilting
Custom/detailed machine quilting ranges from 2 -
4 cents per square inch
To figure approx. cost multiply length x width x price
per square inch

These
prices do not include anything other than quilting
your top, batting and backing together with patterns
similar to those you see on the samples
page. If needed,
I will provide Hobbs polydown at .15 per inch or Hobbs
80/20 for .25 per inch and muslin backing for $8 per
yard.
If desired,
I will attach your binding to the front of your quilt
for you to finish by hand at .10 linear inch. To figure
this cost, take the length + width x 2 for total inches
and then take this number times .10. If you want me
to sew the binding down to the back, the cost is .25
linear inch.
